Trailhead Update: Undercliff Carriage Road Closed for Improvements Monday through Thursday from July 20 – Aug 28

From July 20 through August 28, Undercliff Carriage Road will undergo essential resurfacing and drainage upgrades. This work marks the first full resurfacing of this historic carriage road in 30 years, an essential step in preserving its character and ensuring safe access for years to come. Trailhead Update: The East Trapps Connector Trailhead parking lot will be closed Monday – Thursday from July 20 – August 28 and limited parking will be available Friday – Sunday during the Undercliff Carriage Road Closure. 

Visitor Alert: Recent storms may have impacted conditions on some trails at Mohonk Preserve.

Before you head out, please be aware that recent storms may have created trail hazards, including downed trees, ruts, and areas of standing water. If you encounter a downed tree on the trail, we’d appreciate your help in reporting it to the Visitor Center so our staff can respond as quickly as possible.
