Closure Update:  12/24/25 – The Coxing Trailhead lot is currently closed. In the event of winter conditions, trailhead parking lots will open once cleared.

Mohonk Preserve is closed to horseback riding from December – May. 

Trailhead Update: 12/24/25 – Preserve Trailhead lots are currently open, with the exception of the Coxing Trailhead parking lot, which remains closed.

When conditions permit, carriage roads may be groomed for xc skiing. Check our website for more information and the latest trail condition updates before planning your outing: www.mohonkpreserve.org/ski. We look forward to seeing you on the trails!
