Luke Morley

Information Technology Manager

In 2021, Mohonk Preserve hired Luke as Information Technology (IT) Manager. He is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and coordination of all aspects of the IT Department, including analyzing, recommending, reviewing, and implementing changes pertinent to the smooth, secure, reliable, and continuous operation of the computer systems, network, telephone, and email communications infrastructure.

Luke grew up in the Catskills and spent summers camping in the local area and in the Adirondacks. In his youth he spent a lot of time dismantling things that he probably shouldn’t have such as his bicycle, lawn tractor, televisions, radios and eventually personal computers. In 2004 he started a career in the auto industry with an entry level position and worked his way up to Department Management. This would solidify his passion for Information Technology as the industry rapidly adapted to the newest technology and software over the next decade.

Luke received formal training from day-to-day work experience, self-learning courses and a local career and technical center, learning from a highly successful Cisco Networking Academy Advanced Instructor. Luke has training certificates in A+, TestOut PC Pro and Network+.
