Trey Hotaling
Trails Coordinator
Trey joined the Mohonk Preserve team in 2022, and in 2024 stepped into the role of Trails Coordinator. Trey was a Preserve member for three years prior to joining the team and has grown to deeply appreciate the Shawangunk Mountains and Mohonk Preserve lands.
Prior to the Preserve, Trey worked as a trail crew member, estate groundskeeper, and in ski operations. He is skilled in trail construction and maintenance, landscaping, construction, and ArcGIS. He is an avid outdoorsperson, hiker, runner, and cyclist and has developed an ample understanding of the Preserve’s many highlights and trail networks and takes pride in sharing them with those he introduces to the area.
Trey is a Hudson Valley native and a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography.
