Tim Chanowitz
Carriage Roads & Grounds Coordinator
Tim joined the Preserve in April 2022 as our Carriage Road & Grounds Coordinator. He is responsible for planning, managing, and executing stewardship and maintenance projects for the Preserve’s carriage road infrastructure, including repairing/rebuilding the carriage roads, bridges, parking areas, supporting buildings, drainage, and other land maintenance.
Tim is a Wallkill native who has an extensive background in dock construction along the Hudson River and in roadway construction. Tim enjoys downhill mountain biking and enjoying the vast expanse of the ridge. If you come across a machine on the land, Tim is most likely the one behind controls.
