Senior Manager of Government and Funder Relations

Meme began working at Mohonk Preserve in 2004 serving in various positions in the Development Department during her 10-year tenure. She rejoined the Preserve team in 2023 as Senior Manager of Government and Funder Relations after working most recently at the Land Trust Alliance (LTA) as the New York Senior Program Manager. Her conservation experience includes service on the New York State Forest Stewardship Coordinating Committee and Forest Legacy Sub-Committee, organizing successful statewide advocacy campaigns to advance and fund land conservation and, as a volunteer, leading the fundraising effort to support the Gardiner Community Preservation Fund ballot initiative. Her work experience also includes serving as Director of Fund Development for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, External Affairs Officer for LTA, and Director of Development for Orange County Land Trust.

Meme has lived in the Hudson Valley since 2003 and resides with her family in Gardiner where she enjoys hiking, running and fishing. Currently she volunteers as a member of the Development Committee for the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference and serves as a member of the Town of Gardiner’s Community Preservation Advisory Board.
