Julie Gundersen
Media Associate
Julie joined the Preserve in January 2022 as Media Associate. In this role she has helped to grow the Preserve’s online brand and develop content in support of the Preserve’s mission and strategic plan. Julie is responsible for crafting social media content, promoting special events, maintaining the photo archive, managing the website, and helping advance other initiatives to support the Preserve.
Julie previously served as a Trailhead Assistant for two seasons during her time at SUNY New Paltz, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting. After graduating college, she explored Burlington, VT and Philadelphia, PA where she served as a Communication Specialist in higher education administration. Now back home in the Hudson Valley, Julie is thrilled to take advantage of the beautiful landscape through hiking and mountain biking. She also enjoys throwing pottery and painting in her home studio.
