Erika Chason
Development Coordinator
Erika joined Mohonk Preserve in January 2026. Building on a previous career as a physical therapist, she brings a deep commitment to community well-being and a talent for relationship-centered service to her role as Development Coordinator. Erika performs essential operational and administrative work that strengthens individual and Preserver Circle donor engagement, streamlines appeals and campaigns processes and ensures the accuracy and integrity of the Preserve’s development data systems. Her work supports the long-term sustainability of the Preserve’s mission and enhances the donor experience at every stage.
Outside of work, Erika loves experiencing new places both locally and around the world. As an avid foodie, she enjoys exploring the Hudson Valley’s vibrant restaurant scene and is always happy to share a recommendation with fellow Preserve visitors and staff. She and her spouse can often be found training for their next endurance challenge—whether it’s a marathon, triathlon or multiday backcountry trek.
