Older Wiser Learners (O.W.L.s) – Winter Tree ID Workshop

You are never too old to learn new things! Join Mohonk Preserve Education Staff for a series of workshops for adults ages 18+. Participants will dive deeper into the natural history of the Gunks in these seasonal workshops. This winter’s theme is Winter Tree ID. Learn how to make detailed observations of the bark, twigs and fruit of trees and pick up a few tricks and tips for identifying trees in the winter months. Bring a field journal if you have one. The workshop will take place both indoors and outdoors so be prepared to spend time outdoors observing trees. Space is limited and registration is required. Cost is $30 for members and $40 for non-members.
