Kids’ Climate Series – Earth Day Recycled Art

The Kids’ Climate Series will feature activities, games and art that will help kids better understand the science of climate change. The seasonal programs will focus on different science concepts that impact our climate. Bring some of your recycling – plastic bottles and tops, yogurt cups, boxes, cardboard, toilet paper tubes, scrap fabric, jars, etc. – to Mohonk Preserve to repurpose them into beautiful works of art, handy organizers and more! Extra supplies will be on hand to help supplement your creations. Make a desk caddy for pencils, abstract art, cute tube animals, and other creations! Space is limited and registration is required for all participants ages 5 and up. Adults do not need to register but must be present for the program’s duration. Free for members and $5 for nonmembers.
