Hudson River School of Art and Its Ice Age Origins Webinar
October 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
During the 19th century, there was a cultural Renaissance in the Hudson Valley region. Led by Thomas Cole, we saw the appearance of the Hudson River School of Art making our region the center of a truly important cultural movement. Join Robert and Johanna Titus, former geology and biology professors and authors of five books on the geology of the Catskills and the Hudson Valley, as they present on how the glaciation of the region created the landscapes that inspired an artistic movement. Gain appreciation for the processes that created the landscapes that surround us through this free virtual presentation. Registration is required. Participants will receive a link upon registration.
