Field School – Insects
Join a Mohonk Preserve Environmental Educator as your students search in the fields and edges of the forests for insects of all shapes and sizes. Learn how to safely catch and release insects while discovering how to identify them using key characteristics. Find out about the importance of our pollinator friends and learn what plants are best for attracting them. This program is appropriate for students ages 6 to 12 accompanied by a registered adult. Registration is required for children and adults. Masks are required for those not fully vaccinated; younger siblings and dogs are not permitted on this program. Fee: $15/person

Come prepared to learn in the outdoors this summer. Minimum of group size of 8 participants is required. Don’t wait! Registration closes 4 days before the program, at 2:00 p.m.
