Field School - Amphibians in the Forest
What kind of amphibians live in the forest and why do they live there? Students will explore the forest floor habitat in hope of observing amphibians. The hike is easy to moderate on a wide carriageway, field paths and narrow woodland footpaths.. This program is appropriate for students ages 6 to 12 accompanied by a registered adult. Registration is required for children and adults. Masks are required for those not fully vaccinated; younger siblings and dogs are not permitted on this program. Fee: $15/person
This summer Mohonk Preserve is offering hands on outdoor programming for young students. A 1:5 chaperone to student ratio is required for all Field School programs. Space is limited to 20 including chaperones and registration is required. Come prepared to learn in the outdoors this summer. Minimum of group size of 8 participants is required. Don’t wait! Registration closes 4 days before the program, at 2:00 p.m.
