Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk

Come along with Heather Houskeeper, The Botanical Hiker, for a guided walk at the beautiful Mohonk Preserve and learn about the edible and medicinal plants that call this special landscape home. Many of these plants may be found on other favorite trails, in your own backyard, or in urban parks. Learn helpful hints for identifying and utilizing these plants. There will be many stops along our path and the hike will be moderate. While we may handle, smell, and occasionally taste a plant, we will not be collecting plants for use. Bring a notepad or smartphone for jotting down notes.
Registration is required and masks are required for all non-vaccinated individuals. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. Fees are per person: Mohonk Preserve members: $20; Non-members: $25.
