Medicinal Plant Walk

Come along with Heather Houskeeper, The Botanical Hiker, for a guided walk at the beautiful Mohonk Preserve and learn about the medicinal plants that call this special landscape home. Many of these plants may be found on other favorite trails, in your own backyard, or in urban parks. Learn helpful hints for identifying these plants. There will be many stops along our path and the hike will be moderate. While we may handle and smell plants, Mohonk Preserve prohibits their collection and/or removal. Bring a notepad or smartphone for jotting down notes. Registration is required. Children aged 7 and up are welcome and must always be accompanied by a registered adult. The cost per person $20 Members; $25 Non-members.
