Dialogues with Global Warming: A Conversation about the Science and Impact of Global Warming in our Lives

September 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join former National Center for Atmospheric Research presenter and Imago communications facilitator Richard Ordway for a presentation about the science of climate change and the effects of our carbon footprint. Afterward, there will be an interactive dialogue process led by Richard and assisted by his wife, Bonnie Hirschhorn, a practicing licensed psychotherapist and Imago relationship therapist. The purpose of the dialogue process is to learn interactive communication tools to share with and learn from others how we affect global warming and in return how global warming affects our lives. We will learn tools to have safe conversations about topics that are difficult and how to have safe conversations with others who come from different backgrounds and may have differing views. This presentation and dialogue process can teach us a lot about global warming, ourselves and the world at large. Space is limited and registration is required. This program is part of the Hudson Valley Climate Solutions Week.
