Black Eco-Poetry: Nature and Resilience (Virtual)
June 16 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Eco–poetry is poetry with a strong ecological emphasis or message. Celebrate Juneteenth with Mohonk Preserve educator Ashawna Abbott as she explores eco–poetry and the intersection of the environment and black history, highlighting several pieces by modern and historical poets. These works of art trace connections between environmental and ancestral resilience of the black diaspora. This free virtual program is open to all. Registration is required.
