Animal Skulls and Bones of the Preserve

August 15 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 am

Replica animal skulls arranged in a circle, noses pointed toward the center on top of a replica animal fur.

Stop by the junction of the West Trapps Connector trail, Undercliff Road, and Trapps Bridge (near the large boulder; accessible via West Trapps trailhead) to experience the biodiversity of our region through animal skulls and bones! Seasonal Environmental Educator Penny Adler-Colvin will have a table for participants to stop by and examine, identify, and categorize skulls and other bones. Learn about the animals you have a chance of coming across at Mohonk Preserve! This is a free program; membership or day pass required at the trailhead.
