After the Frost: Fungi of Late Fall Webinar

November 2, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The period between the first frost and hard freeze often provides some of the most wondrous days to be afield. During the late fall, the Autumn fungi which come into view differ from those we see in the summer. In this program we will investigate those macro fungi, ‘Mushrooms’, so to speak, even though most are not at all soft and mushy. Within this group of Mushrooms are some which are edible, some poisonous and some downright beautiful. And all, of course, provide valuable functions within the temperate ecosystems of our Northeastern forests. Join us for this free webinar hosted by Bill Bakaitis to learn about the fungi of late fall. The link to the webinar will be sent upon registration.
