A Walk Back in Time with Paul Huth
October 24 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join Paul Huth, Mohonk Preserve Director of Research Emeritus, for a walk to the 19th century Van Leuven Cabin and learn what life was like in the Trapps Mountain Hamlet, once home to some sixty families. Paul will open the cabin and answer questions about this home, its use and construction. He will also be sharing some of his nearly five decades of research experience into the surrounding natural and cultural history of the ridge. The walk will be an easy 2-mile round trip hike. This is free program for children ages 8 to adult.
Space is limited and registration is required. Masks are required for unvaccinated participants.
