A Day in the Life of a Patrol Ranger

January 21 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Ever wonder what a patrol ranger does with their day? At Mohonk Preserve, we are dedicated to protecting the land and providing great experiences for people in nature. Preserve patrol ranger work takes many forms. One day, patrol rangers might be searching for a lost hiker, and another, fighting a wildfire or orchestrating the complex high-angle rescue of a rock climber. They might be assisting Conservation Programs with boundary patrols, data collection or leading a public program. Come learn more about what a patrol ranger does, with an emphasis on our internationally accredited mountain rescue team. This is a free program for ages 5 to adult, and children must always be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and registration is required.
