AT&T has answered the call to help fund Mohonk Preserve’s innovative high school transition program for underserved, urban eighth-grade students. The Preserve is teaming with the San Miguel Academy of Newburgh on the program, which reinforces critical science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts through hands-on experiences in nature.
Launched in 2014, this field studies program helps students learn STEM skills through outdoor activities, including orienteering and map reading, fire ecology and winter survival. Read more...
