The Land Trust Accreditation Commission has awarded Mohonk Preserve with accreditation, a national recognition of its excellence in land protection.
The Preserve is one of only 230 land trusts across the country that has been awarded accreditation since fall of 2008 and the first to be accredited in Ulster County, according to a press release. Each year, the Preserve welcomes more than 150,000 visitors to its 8,000 acres of protected cliffs, forests fields and streams. See full article online or view as a PDF.
